Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy for horses. This standard package comes with two leather applicators. We service these units ourselves so we know just how reliable they are. Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy (PMFT) has been around for almost 50 years now in various forms. It is important not to confuse or associate PMFT with magnetic bandages etc. Magnetic bandages produce a weak static magnetic field which, according to research performed in the U.K. appears to have little if any therapeutic value.

Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy (PMFT) equipment generates magnetic fields which are pulsed at different rates. By changing the frequency of these pulses you can stimulate different reactions in the body. Lower frequencies 1-12Hz help to reduce swelling, relax muscles whilst also stimulating repair. Higher frequencies 17-50Hz increase blood flow and stimulate more rapid injury repair. There have been numerous investigations into PMFT and various medical research papers have been published on the subject.
