Samsung Galaxy A90 5G
Samsung's A-Series phones are usually not the most exciting but the A90 5G is actually the first in a while that actually you might want to take a look at. Let's see what's interesting about this one.
Samsung's Galaxy Android smartphones are globally considered to be a series entirely beneath the premier S-series, however with A90 5G Samsung is optimistic and hopes to narrow down this difference.
With A90 5G Samsung brings to you the similar One UI but modest hardware configuration to bring down the cost.
A series is one of Samsung’s midrange lineup, not as flashy as the S or the Note series but with A90 5G things have changed completely. This is the first time Samsung has introduced 5G connectivity, a truly flagship feature in a mid-range smartphone. At $999, you might have the impression that it isn't a flagship model, but as we get more and more into the specifications, it gets more and more flagship.
With launch of A90 it really feels like Samsung is trying to take the fight to brands like Huawei and OnePlus and hit that price point that's a little bit lower than the iPhone S10, Note 10 level while still delivering a top Samsung experience; plus it's 5G.
Design
On the back you will notice it has got this really cool geometric, kind of like panel design featuring four different panels of different colors offering something unique and glossy. Currently this smartphone is available in two different colors black-and-white but if you are after its unique geometric panel design then you will only want to purchase the black variant. The white model, also spectacular, has an almost pearlescent finish giving it a more minimalist look.
And to be honest, I've not seen anything quite like this before. To me it seems to be a really unique way to take on the kind of reflective color designs that brands like Honor is doing but in what still feels like a Samsung-y kind of a way.
Overall, the Galaxy A90 is unquestionably stunning and holding it gives you the impression of something top-of-the line, something precious.
Camera
On the back you will have triple camera setup. There's a 48-megapixel main lens which is only further enhanced with an 8-MP wide lens as well as 5-MP depth sensor to offer you superior images with unparalleled depth and quality. Obviously, it's not going to be quite the camera performance you get up in like Note-10 or any similarly priced premium smartphone but you can always expect to get some really fantastic shots out of this device.
Display
Flip around to the front and as you might have expected it has got the little sort of dew drop notch at the top. Right in the center it is equipped with a 24-megapixel selfie cam. Apart from the camera what really impresses me is its handful 6.7 inches super AMOLED edge-to-edge display with barely any bezels which again gives this smartphone that flagship look and feel.

The specs are pretty high end too. The smartphone is equipped with octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor which is a flagship chip for this year. If you're looking for more power, then there is also a variant that comes equipped with 855+ chipset. Apart from the processor there is 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM integrated storage with an option to further upgrade to 512 GB via microSD card.
